Cheap C-Tire 30-30 any good?

Never had a problem with Federal Power Shok 30-30 rounds, always been reliable and does the job.

Federal makes an excellent product.Their generic brand ammo(American Eagle) is also superb at a discounted price.

I used a .300 Savage 150gr Power Shock to drop (dropped him in his tracks @ 130yds) my heavy 4x4 muley buck 3yrs ago. Cheap and kills what more do you need.

I am always amazed at how people think if they bought ammo from Canadian Tire, it would automatically be inferior!
Do they think the large ammunition makers manufacture cheap, inferior ammo just so they can sell it cheaply to Canadian Tire?

The same year I bought the .300 Savage ammo ($27.99 at the local Co-Op), WSS in Saskatoon had all thier Federal ammo going for CHEAP!! 30-30 was going for $12.99, .308 for $13.99..pretty much all the non-magnum going for under $20.00. The fella behind the counter told me it was ploy Federal was doing to bring up sales. This thread kinda resembles the factory versus handload thread which kinda resembles the article in Rifle Shooter mag about factory load selection for hunting............................
