Cheap & effective way to scope 10/22?

You can buy a one piece Weaver adapter rail that screws to the receiver and has a 3/8" track milled in the top and will take 5/8 rings on the main part of the rail. Its a simple piece so shouldn't cost more than your budget.

On the flip side, you can buy decent Weaver rings for around $26. Then you can still use them when you get a real scope for it.

It's what I'd do anyway.

The standard ruger factory mount has a dovetail grove.(at least they used to!) As does the Weaver (T-09) one I believe.

Oh, I've got a factory gun, no mods, it has no mount. Is there a "ruger brand" mount I should be looking for?

EDIT:

Thanks partner, I found it online. I'll see if ellwood has it.

Bobby, if you're in Thunder Bay, let me know. I have one somewhere at home (two actually), and I don't need either one of them.
