Have any of you seen the Safari Camouflage Blind at Canadian Tire? It's on sale right now for $149.99 +$8.00 shipping online. I was talking to the manager at the store here and he said that's below cost. Needless to say they didn't have any in stock at any town near me; as is the case with everything I want at CT, but their shiping is always reasonable.

Good deal if you ask me, and I'll be trying mine out this spring vs. Turkeys. I like the full screen option of it. No problem just blasting a 12ga hole right through the window and repatch. ;)

I bought one last year with my annual Canadian Tire money splurge. I only used mine a few times, but I like it. If I didn't have one, I would jump on that deal in a second:D

Is it easy and fast to set up ? I used a blind once that was a pain to set up. Like setting up a pup tent. If it does not set up in less than a minute, then it is something that takes about 5 minutes outside in -20degrees.

I set mine up in a few minutes without bothering to watch the video, or red the instructions on the big tag attached to the bag:redface:

What kind of a man reads instructions before he puts something together anyway?:D

Shhhhhhhhhhh.. don't tell anyone... DD just bought me one for my Birthday! Gonna set it up in the livingroom to check it out.. before it settles on Cougar hill ;)

I'm spoiled:redface: :D Can hardly wait for the postman to arrive!:dancingbanana:

Went to my local CTC as the web said they had one in stock. They DO NOT come with the camo netting shown in the picture - just camo fabric. They also didnt show up in the CTC computer as being on sale for 150 = showed as 219. I made them go to the web site to see the price.

In the end I didnt buy it - it is 70 x 70 inch base and 60 inch high. i have a doghouse thats slightly smaller so I will stick with it. I would have bought it if the netting was includedé

Perhaps you saw the wrong one? Dave C has one :)

Will you guys quit showing Mommabear all these deals:eek:how am I ever gonna save any money to get things I want but don't need:p

Well I picked one up before the sale ended. It did NOT come with the scrim cam as shown int he picture. Apparently they changed to the Eastmen model which doesn not have scrim and never bothered to change the picture. So even though I got it at 50% off, I wanted the scrim. I called and complained and they're aware of this. They're jsut not telling people. For those complaining, they offered me the 12'x5' mossy oak leaf blind ($30) to use as scrim. I said that'd do.

So it all worked out in the end. Nice blind, it's huge though. Since I usually pack in on a quad, I'm not too worried about that. Stup is not too bad, but might be a pain in the dark. It'll definatly make for a comfortable Turkey hunt this spring though..
