cheap, low recoil, long range, readily available round?

i know this is the wrong section but ive got the attention of some people willing to help here. if i buy this kit

what else would i need to get started? i know id need power primers ive got casings and the bullet itself.

.223 Rem is your only choice if you want to meet everything in your title.

That kit is a starting point. It will work for you but it's a wee bit cheap. I bought one for the press for my hillbilly version of a multi-stage. Turns out I prefer to do it one step at a time as mistakes can be bad news. If you have an excuse to go up to Gravehurst drop in to Epps on Hwy 11 N. They have a good selection of used dies and you can find a good used press sometimes. Lee dies work but if your getting a basic set I'd get RCBS or Hornady.

right on thanks bud, if for some reason i dont end up keeping the remy as i think ive decided to sink some money into it to make it a better shooter, ill end up with a .223. also my wife is planning a weekend get away for november sometime so if i have some say in the location ill make sure its up near epps, from what ive seen its a play land for us big kids

ive come across that book a couple times at the gun show i go to, theres one in december ill be visiting. and for the caliper, that one is ok, ive got a much better quality one in my shop, used to work as a machinist so ive built a little collection of precision tools. ive also got a big hammer that may come in handy, lol. thanks for the links
