Pffft. I know five guys who own a firearm personally used by Hitler in his bunker the day he killed himself, and they didn't pay anywhere near that. Mitchell's Mausers has plenty left too :p
 
Didn't know any of these guns still existed. My understanding was they were all destroyed during the testing.

No wonder their asking that price for it. Probably get it, too.

it was suposedly removed from the bunker and tossed at the side of a road by auther axman durhning the breakout from the berlin bunker so chances are its still out there OR still buried under berlin........ a walther ppk......

500K-1mil... I'm suprised people aren't drawing a relation to items on the EE. I wonder if there are any private collectors in the US under the current economic climate who would be able to move on that...
 
I'm holding out for the Luger that Hitler gave Roosevelt back in the 1920's before they conspired to start WWII, back when neither of them were either famous, powerful or remotely popular.
 
Back in the 70's there was an american smith who split 2 lugers in half and tig welded the frames back together larger to make a 45 luger. G&A had it on their cover, with a big write up on it. Some folk have lots of time on their hands. There were a handful made for the american trials, but not many.
