Cheap trail cameras at TSC

Bought one for $60 last year that included a set of batteries and an SD card. It was a pig on batteries especially for the amount of pics that were taken. I'll stick with my spypoints.

Lithium batteries are the way to go, they might be 2 or 3 times the price of alkaline but they last much longer and aren't affected by the cold as much.

It had nothing to do with batteries f:P:- I had two cameras side by each and with the same batteries out of the same pack. The daytime filter started sticking and wouldnt retract.

of course, after being played with as a soccer ball by two different countries post offices`who knows what it will do now...

Thats the same with me, set of energizers in a Bushnell will last for months and thousands of pictures. Cheap skate trail cam 5 weeks and a few hundred pics at most

4 AA batteries add up to 6 volts. If you are good with a soldering iron there is no reason why you couldn't hook up a golf cart or RV 6 volt battery. It would probably last all year and then some.

Well, fairs fair....

I received a box in the mail today that I wasnt expecting. It was from WGI with a short letter in it responding to the one I wrote 4 months ago. It was written by the employee that handles all returns for warranty repair. The letter stated that they would have never have packed a return item as indicated in the pictures and said that the box wasnt theirs and said it was the post office's.

In order to win my loyalty back' they replaced my camera with a new one and sent me a baseball hat as well.

Wish I still had the box I received the camera back in, but they came good for camera so I am satisfied.
