cheapest .22lr

i've been slowly stocking up on the winchester 333 and 555 whenever i'm at walmart and they actualy have some, I havn't seen a better deal localy in months.
 
All the 555 packs at Walmart around here jumped to around $21.97/box. I remember buying these damn things for $13.97 not a couple of years ago. The last .22 I bought was the 2100 round Federal in the ammo can. It's a decent price if you want the can.

Are you sure that wasnt the 333 packs? Those are still about 14 bucks.
Just a thought.
 
Yeah, I have no Cabellas locally otherwise that deal sounds good. I'm thinking about going to Walmart this afternoon to get a few boxes of 555.
 
Ammo cans? Can you guys that have one post a pic? My Bro has an army looking one. I`m sure it is only about 4 inches wide x 12 inches long x 12 inches deep.
I stopped at Princess Auto and their ammo cans were bulky: More like 6-8 inches wide x 12 inches long and 10 inches high.
I want a skinny one like my Bro has.
 
Basspro had a sale this summer on blazer for 20 bucks a pack. Went to Canadian tire and got ten to price Match and bought ten bucks plus you get 10 % Canadian tire untop for price match. So I walked out with 26 bucks Canadian tire money to boot. Easily the best route to go when you spot a deal on ammo. Take the flyer to Canadian tire
 
Do they accept web deals if they're printed?

walmart's sold out again. I wonder if the huge demand in the US is causing a shortage up here?

They come in a M2A1 ammo can a standard 50 cal can. There are different types of ammo can for different types of ammo.

Quite certain what I bought. The 555s were dirt cheap until recently. I might be off a couple of dollars but they were mid-teens for sure. Even the Federal 525s were $13 when they were first released but that was nearly a decade ago.

Yeah I remember buying the fed 525s for under 15 for years. Those days are gone I am afraid
 
Top pic is the ones I seen at Princess auto, too wide for my liking.
Bottom pic is what my brother has, perfect for 22 shells. How hard are these to come by?

My CZ 455 likes the Win Wildcat for best grouping. Mini-Mags and Stingers group better but at 2x and 4x the price.
