I've been buying from Busget Shooter Supply. 150 grain bt fmj 100pcs for $26. Buy about 500 or 1000 at a time to save on shipping.

I've done quite a bit of comparative shooting with various FMJ bullets in .30-06 and 7.62 cal MILSURPS and have found that the most accurate non-match bullet is the Hornady 150gr FMJ. I have also verified this in a heavy barrel M700 Rem in .308 Win. They can be bought quite cheaply in bulk. Ammomart used to be a source and should be checked.

Buying components on-line stops being cheap when shipping is added. Shipping usually negates any cost savings. And it's not the retailer who sets the shipping cost.
Don't think you'll beat $26 per 100 though.

It sucks when you're in a city where there aren't a lot of brick & mortars that stock much supplies. So like Outwest pointed out, bulk order is the way to go to make the shipping worthwhile.

I too was surprised at how well those bulk Hornady 150gr FMJs shoot.

I've been shooting these out of a couple different M305s with good results. I'm not really a paper puncher but can ring the steel with these almost every shot at different ranges.
