Cheapest .50bmg rifle in Canada?

Its to bad you couldn't rent one for say 5 rounds, obviously at the range with the owner standing over you and all that. Cause I would love to try one, just not $10000 worth (right now).

And a .460 Weatherby Mag.

And a BFG 45/70

Don't know about a T-REX or a 4-Bore yet.

Well your close enough to try one, every year they have a .50BMG shoot at the Genesee range west of Edmonton where spectators can pop of a couple rounds if they pay for the ammo. We didnt have a match last year, but this year there may be one. Watch the gun shops in edmonton for adds and it usually gets posted on this board.

A few of us bring our's out to Mutts shoot at Genesee the next one is May 15-16-17, In the evening after the shoot we do a little playing if time permitts, If your around at the shoot or after introduce yourself to me and I will let ya crack off a couple outa mine, mine is the pretty one!!:p

I will warn you.....once you try it your going to want one real real bad.:D

50bmg

there is a guy in southern Sask, Weyburn actually, who was importing ma deuce receivers & barrels for sale. The recievers were engineered for semi auto function. However, I cannot remember the prices he was kicking around. He was the only gun guy/machinest in town though, should be fairly easy to track down.

Friggin' hilarious. The scope reticule takes the cake.

To the OP: I guess the Hagelberg's your ticket for a cheap 50... $2,995, that's pretty decent, cheaper than medium caliber match rifles.

Yeah, I seen that, but I'm hesitant to build it myself. The price is alright , but I don't know much about the brand. I'm still considering it though. I look forward to finally reloading all this brass I have. Thanks for your thoughs and suggestions guys.:D

Hagelburg FH-50 Rifle kits.
There are no parts or upgrades available, any up grade would require custom work. As previously stated we will guarantee that all kits are complete. We can't warranty the completed gun as we have no control over how well or how badly the gun is assembled, and yes this is reflected in the low price.

Accuracy: We have no figures for accuracy, my honest opinion on their accuracy potential is as follows. The match grade Lothar Walther barrels look superb, the muzzle brakes are very well machined, the barrel extension and lock up appears to be very stiff, all these factors would indicate that these kits have excellent accuracy potential. If there is a weakness it is probably how the receiver tube is simply located round the barrel with a locking collar because this receiver tube is what carries the 1913 scope rail. This is an area that maybe needs to be improved. I am confident that this kit as supplied would give anyone a really “fun Fifty” to play with and with a little tuning should be capable of holding their own in a long range match. This is an entry level Fifty rifle and is priced accordingly.
