Cheapest/best P226 mags?

Hey there,

I'm new to the platform and excited to run a new pistol. I'm looking for the best source for quality mags (at least 4-6). Anyone have recommendations? Do you stick to mec-gar or is there another brand that runs as well?

Cheapest would be the 4 pack from Corwin. I haven't had any issues with them.

Stick with a known brand. MecGar works.
Don’t cheap on mags. They’ll fail when you least expect.

Spend the extra few dollars on Mec-Gar. They're worth every penny.

Corwin arms 4 pack works great in my sig p226, I’ve never had an issue with them over the past two years.

factory or mec-gar are the best.
most failures are magazine related.

I asked Corwin specific questions about their mags months ago.......still waiting for a reply so I purchased Mec-Gar. They come with the pistol so they are made to work with the pistol.

I'm pretty sure the corwin mags are made by mec-gar and are just not branded. They are made of Italy and are great quality. I have shot a few hundred rounds through each of the two I have and never had a single hiccup even with my norinco p226 clone.

I only see Beretta 92 mags at corwin. Maybe out of stock...? Other than that the best I can find are 34/mag at Marstar.

I have tried various brands of mags. Some crap the bed. Mec-gar work perfectly.
