Cheapest Non-Res Mini 14?

Who offers cheapest mini 14? It use to be economical tactical rifle. Few years ago I could find them for less than $700 before tax, nowdays it seems to go for over $800 and after taxes and S/H that comes close to $1000 that is not very economical.

ordered mine from sports action blued with wood stock extra 5rd mag and the ati strike force stock for 1130 tax in but they have none in stock
 
I've been trying to get one from my local shop, and they tell me it's gonna be a year…. They've been telling me that for a couple years now. Wtf

I got mine of the EE for $700 used. Stainless/ synthetic with a muzzle brake and picitinny rail installed.

It was hardly used at all, an to be honest I kinda feel like I over paid. Look on the EE, it's a very popular gun and provided you don't want a factory folder you should find one for $700 with some aftermarket goodies.

Also, buy used factory mags from gun shows. I've found 2 for $15, which is nice cause bass pro wants like $50 for them new.
 
Hmmmmmm....700.00 used on EE, 525.00 new @ fishingworld....how will I ever choose.

If you want accuracy, get the "target" model and put some descent glass on it. I have one with maybe 20 rounds thru it just to sight in the scope. Keeping it just in case it ever becomes a prohib which is unlikely once the LGR dies, but you never know!
