Cheapest place for Shadow thin aluminum grips?

Thin ones may actually be too thin for many shooters.
Angus and his shop are considering stocking a set that has one thin and one thick al grip as they provide much better grip and feel.
Both, Dlask and CRAFM sell al grips.
Either way, let me know what you set your eyes on exactly and I'm sure I can give you a decent deal ;)
 
It'll depend on the hand size too. For me, personally, single stack 1911 or CZ thin grips make it WAY TOO narrow to be comfy or have good control of the gun.
You know, when 1911 was designed, average person was smaller, not John's fault. He did get the grip angle right thou; but the angle didn't change despite humans getting larger ;) :D
 
I just ordered 2 sets from CRAFM there a site sponser and have the grips in stock, they carry two types of the thin profile grips that are virtually the same, one is 119.99 the other is an Angus Hobdell edition, (CZ USA's sponsered shooter), they are 99.99 the only differance between the two is the Hobdell ones do not have the CZ logo on them and the grip screw is a stainless steel phillips head, which to me looks like crap especially if your going for the black grips, these same grips sell for 89.99 at the CZ USA custom shop, I chose the 119.99 grips because 1) they come with blued grip screws with allen key head 2) I like the CZ logo on the grips.
Honestly I did a lot of research and found unless I ordered them from Europe CRAFM was my best option and there customer service was great over the phone.

Did you get the grips yet? ;) CZCustom shop is just to get their 'allen head' screws in for the grips and as a separate item.
 
czcustom.dot.com has a reference table as of what to expect.
Refer to it and choose accordingly.
Talk to CRAFM and ask for pix if not sure of the looks...

Note: screws are now in - in black and ss flavor...
 
These are the grips I received from CRAFM very good service by the way.

The color is for referance as Ive seen the blue ones installed on guns in the EE but not the red, so for anyone thinking about this color hear you go.
