Cheapest place to buy a M 14 (norinco or poly) ??

not really i started shooting since i was 14 so this seems reasonable. I shoot 5.56 with the army reserves shot other larger weapon systems. Autos, semis, shotys, bolties of a few kinds and cals. This is just the one I want to own first now. I also want to do service rifle with this and very much love the history of the m14 and grand family. I am also jumping into reloading with my buddy so ammo will be a bit cheaper. I do have money to start up though for sure.

Thanks though I have heard this advice posted before but I am fairly sure this is the one. I will later pick up a 22. after I get my hunting liscence for small game.

Well in that case, you'll enjoy the M14. Have you checked SFRC? For new, you can get a Norc M305 for $430 or with two mags for $450. Frontier has them $530 shipped while most other dealers have them around $529.
