cheapest place to buy flip up lens caps?

I realized that not having flip up caps kind of sucks of a rifle, so I need a few.

Where would you get those?

Don't know if you're stuck on flip ups but if not have a look a Scopeshields on line. I made the switch a couple of years ago and wouldn't go back, they are quiet to release and protect the whole scope. I use them on the west coast and they do keep the water out. Seems to me they were between $30-$40 dollars and prompt delivery over the net.

perhaps an odd question but im in the same boat, however I dont know what size covers Ill need. Im using a bushnell Banner 4-12x40 but cant seem to find sizing info online, I should just take the rifle to my LGS and pick some up but the closest one is an hour out and right now I just dont have time to make that trip

They protect the lens, especially when going through the bush were they get wet and full of dirt, When your ready to shoot you just flip the lens covers up.

That's what I did.. trying to figure it out from online info did not work for me..

You could use those, but I'm sure they would still get scratched and dirty or wet, the flip up covers allow you to have a clean dry lens when you use them.

Maybe its just me but its not difficult to keep SH@t away from your objective. Like I said a sunshade or a killflsh would work wonders and doesn't require user input to operate. See through caps are cheap so replace them when heavily scratched. If using an optic with any magnification you won't see the scratches or water drops anyway.
