One solution to the marking of scoring lines is to make a template with plywood and then drive finishing nails through to outline the perforations. a friend of mine did this for IPSC targets. Cut the cardboard to the correct shape and then press it onto the nail studded plywood form. It's tedious but works well enough for practice targets. It's relatively easy to get a good supply of corrugated material to recycle. Try appliance dealers. Three or four guys and a couple of hours over a beers and BS session could crank out a good supply.
