Cheapest price for an M&P 22?

Hi all,

So ive been doing a bit of research, and have found Prairie Gun Traders to have the cheapest "grand total" price.

$459.00 for the pistol, and $23.75 for tax, with free shipping.

Bringing the total to $482.99.

Does anyone know of any cheaper prices? As far as i found (correct me if im wrong) this is the cheapest price i could find in Canada for the M&P 22. If anyone knows of anything cheaper please let me know.

Thanks.

How about the EE??
Also check how many mags are included as they seem to be a bit on the rare side

Only 1 mag included everywhere that i have found. And i cannot find a M&P 22 specifically on the EE. Lots of M&P 9's etc. But no M&P 22's. And the search engine tends to hit on "22" and pulls up a bunch of adds for .22 calibers, not the M&P 22 itself.

Just remember one thing before you buy an M&P .22 if it breaks good luck getting it fixed, or getting parts for it. I own one and love it. No problems but being a .22 a lot of ammo will get put through it. Eventually a spring or extractor or some other part will fail. I have tried to find spare parts here in Canada with no luck. Just saying.

I too was warned of this by an RO. S&W is putting all their production into new arms, not spares.

I've have also heard this. Not good. Out of curiosity, if a part were to break, how would i go about replacing it, would i have to send the entire pistol to S&W? And where is that located in Canada?

The only authorized dealer for the mp22 in Canada is Murray Charlton in BC, they will most likely have to send it to Smith in the US if it is anything more than an easy fix.
Make sure before you send it to ask if they have parts so your local gunsmith can take care of it as the waranty repair wait thru smith is HORRIBLE.

There's currently 2 or 3 MP 22's on EE but don't waste your time. They're all priced like they're family heir looms.

As for spare parts, it's like the spare mags. There were none to start, now they're easy to find. Just takes a bit of time for them to catch up.

Overall the reviews have been good. I'm just waiting for someone to put one up at less than roflol pricing to get my own.

Just got one from SFRC for $430 all in......they had free shipping and 10% off.
Mags from Brownells are $28 vs the $40 here in Canada as well.
