So I battled throughout the day to put my Archangel stock on. I couldn't get my rear sight off (I smacked it and it rotated the barrel...so I evened it out) so I just ground out some plastic on the top part that clamps on.

Also...instead of shrouding the barrel with the mock suppressor I drilled a whole on the other end and made it extend past the barrel. It was slightly loose so I shimmed it up. I think it looks sweet.

I also removed the sights on the rails

Pros:

Looks sweet
Feels quality

Cons:

The auto bolt release is not the best. Sometime doesn't release. But fortunately I don't really use that feature often
The two pieces that clamp together must be a bit oversized because they wouldn't quite fit snug together. I have about a 1mm gap. I tried tightening it with the screw but it remains. Oh well. Everything still fit together and since it is plastic it flexes a bit. Next time I have it apart I will see where the reciever sits and maybe remove a bit so it the top fits snug to the bottom.

Anywhere here are some pics I snapped:

First my terrible front site (it deserved to get taken off)

Thats all for now...although I do have some big plans for this things future...stay tuned haha

What the crap...how did this end up in Red Rifles. Please moved to Rimfire (any moderator who sees this)

P.S. I know how it ended up here...it was my fault :(

I know what you mean by the "gap" between the top and bottom piece. When I did my 556 kit I had the same problem and the fact that I was using a stainless reciver made it look even worse. To cure this I sanded the top plastic piece using the 10/22 reciver as a guide to help keep the proper mating surface and a fairly long strip of Emory cloth sand paper in between to remove some plastic and close the gap. I also had to grind a bit off of the top mounting screws that go in the recivers scope rail holes because the bottomed out on the bolt causing it to stick and not function properly. In the end I am much happier with the way the gun looks.
