I was turned off by Questar after I found out they ask for PAL info regarding non-firearm products.

Just started a fresh AR build & was contemplating buying some parts from them.

This has sealed the deal...

I would dispute the charges with your credit card.
 
Are you currently allowed to export a 13.5” barrel from the US? If not, how old would this be? Did you just get the last of a rare thing?

Or a barrel that was a defect that was never put through any nitrating faze because it was scrap off the line. Perhaps Questar bought them at deal and sold it as a new LMT barrel! I fail to see how they could let that out the door seeing the rust on the exterior is beyond me and take a picture of it, a lot of questions I would have in this regard.
 
Every other thread Ive seen like this or similar, the dealer came in the thread and made things right. So far that has not happened. Any dealer that sends out garbage should be responsible for it, fuk dealing with the manufacture warranty. The customer paid for a new fking barrel and that's what he should have got. He didn't so Questar should refund him promptly.

I dont see how anyone could argue different. If I own a business im responsible for what i sell and I also have to stand by what i sell. Not leave the customer holding the bag.
 
glad I didnt order a bunch of furniture and small parts from them...Oh wait I couldnt because 90% of everything on the site is out of stock. That sucks Blaxsun, I think questar owes you ALL of your money back. Exterior rust and flaws in the bore passed off as "typical LMT quality".... yeah, they all look like that :rolleyes:
 
If you buy pretty much anything from anywhere, take it home, open it up and it's broken or damaged you can return it. Questars service has proved to be sub-standard. If the chrome lining chipped off after 100 rounds i would say that is a warrenty issue. If it's fk'd up out of the box that's something the dealer should handle. Out of principle. If they don't have more of the product in stock I would expect a refund or at least to be kept "in the loop". I've been trying to decide on a new handgun (sig p226 stainless elite one of the options I'm wresteling with) and questar just got scratched off my list.
