So I decided that instead of dropping more money on my 10/22 by buying a tapco t6 stock and a muzzle weighted barrel I'm just gonna go out and get another gun.... However! Something had to be done about that boring wooden stock; so I went to home depot and got me a can of flat hunter green paint, and a can of flat black paint, and voila! Camo stock
I basically lightly scuffed the finish with some sandpaper, cleaned it with a degreaser, then applied 3 coats of the hunter green, and then stenciled the flat black with a nice fern I found in my back yard.
The pics don't do it justice (crappy 1.3mp cell phone cam) but you get the idea.
Comments and questions welcome

PS, I know I need shorter scope rings
