Check these bullets out

Anyone have any idea what Richard price is on the 265 gr 338's and availability.

I was talking to Richard a week ago and they are not ready yet. MAYBE in a couple of weeks but testing needs to be done to verify that they are good. I'm sure Kirby Allen on the longrangehunting board and "he who shall not be named" will know as soon as they are ready.

If anyone gets info please lmk.

Cheers,
Rob

If the BC is near or over 0.8 AND they are lighter, life is good.

300grMK with a BC of 0.76ish going 2900fps - good

265gr WC with a BC of 0.8ish(?) going 3100fps - fantastic.

Hope to hear some ballistic feedback from those who are testing these slugs.

Jerry

Jerry, you probably have read as much as I have about these but what I find troubling is the lack of data. Exactly how many rifles and how many different shooters are reporting? I'm sure the bc is very hi and look forward to testing them out. I did ask Richard directly what he thought the bc of his new batch will likely be and was impressed with his figures. I will not say what he told me but it was definately hi. I do not know but suspect this data was not his directly, even Berger does not test their own bc. On the other hand, a match quality 265gr hunting capable .338 bullet is welcomed no matter what the bc is.

Cheers,
Rob

I think the company in BC is called the Accurate Bullet Company. They make a 408 and a 50 cal. Last I heard, they were available at Del Selin in Vernon and P & D Enterprises in Edmonton.
