Was out shooting clays with my Biakal double IZh43E-1C the other day. Things were going great untill went to reload. At first the action felt abiit stiff to open so naturally I gave it a quick snap of the wrist. the shotgun opened as per.... the open some more, then a little more untill finally the shotgun fell apart in my hands and turn into a pile of parts in the dirt.
As I 'm sure you can imagine I stared at in blankly trying to wrap my head around what happened.

Looks to me like the solder let go and the force of the ejectors or hammers being re-cocked forced the locking lug forward bending the lower rib all to hell. All is I can say is I'm pretty ticked as I bought this bloody shotgun for its durability. I Bought this used of EE and put roughly 700 rounds of 2 3/4 trap loads though it, the previous owner claimed it wasn't used much. I figure it beyond economical repair...
