*Check your factory loaded Winchester 22-250 for split cases!*

I just bought 2 boxes of Winchester 22-250 in 55gr psp. 3 cases in each box were split in the neck. That is a total of 6 out of 40rds defective. I will put up a picture here shortly of what I am looking at.

Definitely splits. I can feel them with my fingernail.

One is split so bad I can see the end of the projectile. The rest are likely pinched or slightly cracked.

?? first few rounds after cleaning and oiling??? Looks a lot like the marks you get from too much lube in your resizing die. JMHO

i guess they are pumping out so much ammo that they neglected to toss the brass during the forming process.

send a picture and lot number off to Winchester for a box or 2 of ammo.

Tried the number WRP gave me and can't get a live person. Oh well. Winchester has certainly gone down hill.

Just to be clear these were 2 boxes of factory loaded ammo I personally bought from a local sports store. The boxes were never opened until I opened them. There were 3 split cases in one box and 3 split cases in another box.
