There was an StG44 with one today at the SAR show. just thought you guys would like to know they are HEAVY. It weighed about as much as the rifle and the prism site was even missing from it.
 
They don't allow pictures. Nothing new this year. Just like any other show it is the same stuff year after year. I don't like the XCR with the AR collapsing stock. Everyone and his brother is trying to sell their AR with the G43 derived gas piston. .223 FAL with aluminium reciever that uses AR mags. lots of miniguns. As long as I don't run into old friends I can usually be in and out in less than 5 hours. More MP40s than usual this year, but less parts kits of any kind than in the last two years. Also there was not a single stoner 63 this year. The artillery display is also the largest I have seen at the show yet.
 
They really are heavy. I compared my stg44 with my vz858, and the czech rifle is like carrying a feather compared to the '44!
