Checking Transfer Status Online

Hey folks,

I bought a restricted from a gun store, and I was wondering if there was a way I could check the status of it online. I tried the RCMP service site, but there's nothing listed under Registration Application Status. Is that where I would find it? Is it not there because the store initiated the transfer and not me? Just curious. I need to be able to hover over the webpage and obsessively refresh it for the next four to six weeks.

You must have the RCMP / CFO mistaken for a service oriented organization. Unfortunately it's a hurry up and wait ... and wait... and wait kind of game.

Ah, online would make sooo much sense, and free up the agents to work on transfers rather than be hounded by me and everyone else.

Sadly, because it makes sense, it will never be...

Reminds me, I have to call the CFO..
