I shoot several thousand a year. I've loaded them with 700x, Unique, and Win 296 for 12ga, 20ga, 28ga and .410.
They are the least expensive ones I can find.
I've never had a problem with them. They are slightly larger than the Factory Winchester and Remington primers. This doesn't cause a problem priming or decapping, but in my experience, it will slightly enlarge the primer pocket. If you try to load a Remington/Winchester primer into a hull that has been loaded with a Cheddite, you may end up with a loose fit.
I've also found that the primers are a little harder than others. When I used them with my Browning O/U I noticed that the firing pin pitted. I would further speculate that these primers may increase the problem that Brownings are known for, where the over barrel will FTF due to a light primer hit. (my observations and speculations, others may differ).
That notwithstanding, I continue to use them.
Brad.
