Looking for some sort of padded strap-on bag to raise the comb on my Ruger M77 MkII, and perhaps to replace the Karsten on my Savage LRH. I made one out of Pelican foam and an old Canadian Tire buttstock ammo holder. It works alright, but it's obviously not ideal, and I'm not sure how well it's going to hold up to hard use. Storage would be nice as well, but isn't a deal breaker. I found one that seems ideal from a manufacturer in the US, but I contacted them and they don't do cross-border shipping. This is the one I was looking at.

I suppose I could have them ship a few to my brother-in-law in MA, then pick them up next time I'm there. But I'd obviously prefer to buy Canadian and ideally from a CGN supporter. Haven't been able to find anything like this in Canada, which blows my mind considering so many rifles have high scopes and low combs. Especially with those silly, see-though mounts! Any help would be appreciated!

I have a couple of the exact same you pictured. The only real problem I see with them is that it won't fit every Monte-Carlo type stocks. Straight comb are just plain perfect. Bought mine in Latulippe, Qc city while there, but can't remember what make it is (Allen Co?) but it wasn't expensive. If you can't find them locally, there are a lot of these at very low cost on E-Bay, Amazon and alike sites (I do prefer buying from "real people", though).

That looks like the one I was looking at. I emailed Triad Tactical and they do ship to Canada. But I thought the shipping was abit pricey. The part was $39.95 and the shipping was $27 or 29 dollars. I still may get it as I want one really bad. I actually may get two if the shipping is the same then I won't feel bad. Check out there web site. Cheers Roscoe ps nice colour choices also, and they have a larger one for around $43

Dave's Surplus has these made by Eagle Industries.. where I got my shotgun equivalent (same thing but loops for 12 gauge instead of rifle rounds)

Cant find anything like it on Dave's or Eagle Industries' website. So far the closest one looks to be the on from Triad, which I gather is made by Eagle. I'll look into it some more, thanks guys!!
