Mounted my scope and even with low tac rings on the rail the 50mm objective brings it up too high for a good cheek weld. Sits on the jaw right now on the Rem LTR. Saw some info on the Karsten, looks good, but read a post from a former HS stock maker who said it would "break his heart" to see anyone do that to their stock (drilling required) with all the aluminum/carbon fiber etc gone into the stocks.
Then there is the issue of bolt removability.
