Cheers.

+2 on the sights. Mine are fine and and the pistol shoots like a laser. What is it about them that you don't like?

While we are on the topic, does anyone know how to adjust the sights on the P30L? My rear sight is off centre. There doesn't seem to be any screws, just the dovetail so do I just need to get the gun in a vice and use a punch to drift it?

I checked the manual but it doesn't explain how.

Thanks,
Sam

Yep brass drift. But that is surprising because H&K actually sight in their guns. Make sure it's not you or an ammo issue. Did you bench rest fire it?

Anybody know where to buy sights that will fit on a P30L?

The factory night sights are terrible IMHO. Looking for a 8 ball set up.

Would like a day sight. If not available I am open to a day/night as well...

Cheers.

I agree with Agent Law, the Heinie Straight Eights are exactly what you are looking for. You can order them from Brownells or straight from Heinie. But they are over the $100 limit so you might be better off trying to get a Canadian dealer to get some in for you...

For those of you wondering why he might not like the factory sights, remember: to each his own. You may love them but not everyone else will. I personally hated them for two reasons. I don't like 3-dot sight systems and they are the crappiest excuse for night sights ever put on a gun. The simple fact is that German law prohibits the export of tritium sights so the use glow in the dark paint, just like the stuff used on kids toys and it doesn't glow unless you hold it up to a light first. And even then, only for a minute or two at most... Not a useful night sight, if that is something that a fellow is looking for.

I was wondering why the sights weren't very "glow in the dark-ish" ... that explains a lot.
