I got this pistol lately and I found that the load I usually make for other pistols with shorter barrels is not as accurate in my 5" M&P.
I usually load my 9mm like this:
4.0 and 4.2 of Titegroup with 124 grains TMJ round nose Cam Pro bullets. Federal primers. I do some at 4.2 to pass the minimum PF required in certain matches.
OAL varies a little depending on what pistol I plan to use. My HK do like a shorter OAL for example.
But in general it is around 1.13". No crimp.
What you guys use and find accurate for this pistol?
Cheers.
I just loaded 3.8 gr of HP38, plated 147 gr AIM projectile, 1.115" OAL . My buddy is going to chrono it for me on Friday. I won't get a chance to try it in my own M&P 9 Pro until late Feb-early Mar; it's gathering dust in the safe while I wait for my ATT course.
