If you have difficulties getting one of these kits, you use a #006 'O'-ring from any automotive store, and slip it over a new milspec spring and insert. It does work like a charm on the Norc's.

Will do on friday. The pics will show the very obvious difference between the Norinco extractor spring and the standard 'milspec' spring assembly.
Can never say 100%, but I've run my stag bcg in a norc, and it worked. More predictable ejection as well. So long as they are all DI BCG's, according to the book you are good to go. X factor may play a part though.

I had the same double feed issue and replacing the extractor spring did not help. I purchased a new BCG from Questar and my 10.5 now rocks! I enjoy shooting that rifle so much that the cost of replacing the BCG is of no consequence to me.
sadly, no, there was no mention of the rubber insert at the time I had this problem. Had a good quality replacement spring and the problem continued to exist. I am impatient when it comes to this sort of thing, that is why I bought the new BCG. In the end, it cost me more (it is a nicer BCG by the way) but that NORC runs!

Here is a comparison photo of the stock Norinco extractor spring vs the 'milspec' extractor spring and rubber insert. As you can see, Norinco simply installed a stronger spring with one more coil and NO RUBBER BUFFER. This spring does not work and causes extraction/ejection issues. (fired brass falls back into ejection port, which causes the fresh round being stripped from the magazine to jam under it, stopping the rifle with a FTF. I'm guessing that without the rubber buffer, torsional vibrations are not dampened out, and the empty brass shakes out of the extractor claw before the ejector has a chance to throw the brass out of the ejector port.
Here are the rubber "O" rings that I would recommend installing over the new 'milspec' extractor spring and rubber buffer, as a "belt and suspenders" reliability modification. The upper rubber O ring is the "imperial" size .006 and the lower rubber O ring is the metric R-01. Either are available at any Lordco or similar.
Finally, here's the new 'milspec' extractor spring, rubber buffer and "O" ring installed on my Norc's extractor:-
After installing these parts, my 10.5" Norinco CQ-A runs without missing a beat.

Sir, thank you so much for the detailed post. This is the exact same issue I have with my new 10.5", tries to feed another round before extracting the current one. I wonder if the importer will give me these parts for free.
