cheers

Dlask one sell for $99... Half the price of the kx3.

Problem with kx3 is that it is 3 inches long and very heavy
If you want a shorter one and still want to push the sound forward, try the Troy claymore, dlask linear break or dpms linear break.
They all do the same job as kx3 but they are around 1.5 to 2 inches long and around $70 to $100 price range.

My vote goes for the ATRS Eliminator...not cheap, light or small but works like it should. I use it on all my shorties...even on my 300BLK (the .30cal version).

Dlask sells for 150$... SAme as the Noveske at Questar.
Troy claymore? Well it turns your rifle into a flame thrower... lol ;)
Linear break DPMS/Dlack ? I did not come with anything on google...

Thank you!

I saw a couple at blue line sport for $99 in Port Coquitlam.
And all these break have one thing in common, they all throw big flame...why do you think they have a pig breathing out fire on the Kx3? People do not call the Kx3 flamming pig for no reason.

He specifically said he was looking for something to throw blast down range. The KX3 (and the Dlask, which is a direct copy of the KX3) do this as well as anything else I have tried, and better than most. I have them on many of my short AR's and I like them. I would recommend them for the OP's purpose.

Well the kx3/dlask break don't really throw huge flames, they make flame tails in a sort of specific shape like you see on the pig.
Atrs has two excellent videos. Here's the shorter one dlask brake is at about 3:30

Hah... No $hit! Troy flame is bigger the "normal" so it's a no go for this model for me. Besides all your comments. Any experience with one Kx3, dlask etc?

P.S> Blue line carry Dlask for 7.62x39 ( Cz ) not for 5.56mm AR's. BTW FYI I am not looking for a place to buy something. I am looking for personal experiences with the KX3 or similar to make up my mind and choose what I will be buying. From there I assure you I will be able to find it. Google is my friend too. Don't want to be an ass but replies like that do not help me out at all.

Cheers.

From my experience my 12.5 with a kx3 was very comfortable to be around. The guy a few lanes over was shooting iirc a 10.5-11.5 with a claymore brake thumps your chest when you were near him.

I have the KX3 on one of my Noveske rifles and the Dlask knock-off on a couple of 7.5's.

They all seem to be effective in keeping the blast forward, but I'm not a big fan of the added weight.

I also have a PWS Diablo, it's big on weight as well but wins on looks.

The Troy Claymore does a similar job with 1/3 the weight, plus you have the added bonus of the modified breach feature.(not that you wil ever need it, but it does look cool.)
