Chest Holsters

The primary requirement for any holster is that one must be able to get a full firing grip on the weapon, before commencing the draw.

Glock 40 with an open bottom. Thx
7.5 aftermarket barrel or a muzzle break would interfere with a closed end
G20 owners would also be able to use with a modified barrel

No problem for Open bottom to accommodate muzzle break, as long as the break is the same dimensions as the slide.

yup no problem, Leather Thumbreak, pull over leather snap strap, or bungee.

Perfect, what about the SLS on a chest rig for the glock20?

Forgot to ask about that, open bottom will allow water or debris to fall out as well as work with longer threaded barrels.

yup would be a fully open bottom for compensator/threaded barrels and drainage.

i can mold the holster for mechanical Level 2 hood mechanism's, but keeping in mind the hood mechanism can be little uncomfortable against the chest as they stick out a bit. I can't get safariland SLS hood mechanisms unfortunately, i can however mold the holster to accommodate the SLS hood mechanism. we do offer a couple other brands of Level 2 hood mechanisms the "Speed lock" and "WRS"

Perfect, thanks. I will be in touch at some point this season once I get a few things out of the way with my wilderness atc application. Will give me some time to mull over retention options, I have a Safariland with lvl3 and do like the hood but not sure if a leather strap or some like SLS would be better for a chest rig setup.

Bump for chest holsters.

will be trying out a slightly different harness system with 1" Webbing/Buckles all around and with a steel O-ring connector on the back
