Chest rig help

I keep hearing people say not to get a chest-rig. Get yourself a huge batman-belt instead.

But then the batman-belt gets so big and heavy; So now you need to add suspenders to secure it to your upper body.

At that point; Haven't you just turned your belt into a chest-rig? Why not just get a chest-rig (or vest) to start with?

When Batman starts wearing a chest rig, then it will be a legitimate option.

Till then, utility belt it is!

Also, the less you miss, the less ammo you need on your utility belt, making it light and manageable.

Lol ^^^^

In use, this rig won't have the the mag pouches or the utility pouch at the back (keep the canteen pouch for water bottles) I only needed the harness because I have no ass. Lol. It even slipped down with just the 3 mags on it.

I thought you where full of it until I received my HSGI AO chest rig that I ordered to try out... You were right. The belt is way lighter and the load-out is a million times more comfortable. I can wear the rig straps under the belt and harness to take off as needed.

Sound advice Dexter Morgan. Glad I saw the light.

Thanks.

I find that I'm a lot more comfortable if weight and bulk are spread around a bit.

My pistol and pistol mags can go on the belt.
Rifle mags and/or shotgun shells can go on the chest.

Anything I put on my chest is easy to carry, easy to see, and easy to grab.
And the distance between the ammo and the gun is also extremely short.
