CHEYTAC Rifles

I'd definitely go with a Stiller. Caliber wise, after shooting/owning the 338LM Ackley Improved, I'd probably want to do something crazy like AI that too. A couple of weeks ago, my buddy and I were out with my gun and his DSR-1 shooting at 1230yds. That was an accurate measurement by the way. I can't recall exactly what the MOA difference was but the impacts on the steel plates we'd set up were significant enough for him to want to AI his Walther bbl. We were using the same Lapua brass, 300gr SMK bullets, same powder and primers and since I'd done the load developement on his gun, he was maxed out at 101.5grs while I'd just redone my load developement and I was still at 111.5grs. I was still punching through the 3/8" steel while his dented the plate. I can back off roughly another 365yds and then I'll be maxed out for distance at that particular spot. I've got a 40MOA rail and 100MOA of elevation in my 5.5-22 Nightforce. Out to 1230yds, I'm sitting at only 31MOA over 100yd zero which is amazing. Going with the Cheytac isn't necessarily going to mean flatter trajectory though once dialed into the target, penetration should be better. I still think the 338LM AI is still the hybrid to beat as far as rounds/$$ and packability of the rifle itself.

Wolverine is selling the .338Lapua 98Bravo... not the .416 Model 99. The Model 99 is classified as a "Named Prohibited" here in Canada, even in .416 calibre... cannot be imported for civilian end-users.

Keep in mind that CHEYTAC also offers a variety of model configurations... their LER338 (in .338LAPUA) starts at @ $4,500 US (@ $6,200 Canadian) and their LER408 and LER375 start at around $6,500 US (so @ $8,900 Canadian).

All of these are importable and classified as non-restricted firearms.

Don't get me wrong, If I so desire to shoot in that class, I would folk out the money, and purchase it, but to ask customer to folk out the cash and maybe you will get the gun if not your 100 is gone, doesn't really sound that great.
You paying for Quality.
Now the price you Quote there are not high, for Quality rifles, They are know to be Accurate!

That a good Question! Already Answer by been Pick for The MILITARY, I am sure PGW make great rifles, I saw one at shooting Edge in Calgary, believe it was the 308 Version, It also one of those rifles that Price are High but Quality is also up there, so you get what you pay for Most of the Times...

You have misunderstood... if you "fork out the money" you WILL get the gun. As for the deposit, that is only "gone" if you decide to cancel your order and leave us holding the gun... if we can't deliver the product then we fully refund your deposit.
