Chiaapa P-1853 three band Endfiels Rifle/Musket

Hello, just putting it out there...

Has anyone owned, own/shot a Chiaapa P-1853 three band Enfield Rifle/Musket?

Is it any good? I just cant afford to buy a Pendersoli or a real (antique) one, they are priced far too far out of my range.

Keep an eye open for a good used Parker hale. Prices aren’t to bad and the early ones are very good quality

What is your price range? the Chiappas new are more than most used pedersoli's and Parker hales.

They are not bad, I would save more for Pedersolli but Chiappa is more then good enough

I agree, a Parker Hale or an actual issued one that has not been converted to a snider enfield would be ideal!

I found a Chiappa at Tenda Canada for $799! That is a great price for new.

You can find a used PH for less than that, if you're patience.

Chiappa is ok but no where near the same quality.

You can find an ALL-Parker-Hale rifle with a serial number up to around 9500 or so. And a real Parker-Hale-barrelled version up to serial number 14500 or so. After that they are ALL Euroarms-made with no P-H parts at all.
