Chiappa 1886 Kodiak

Junk, well the two lemons I bought. There weren't the Kodiak but the full mag version. Metal is soft, wouldn't cycle smoothly. Rounds would jam. I can see an issue with one gun, poop happens, but two? Luckily the store took them back. Save yourself some grief and get a Winchester. You can always get it chromed.
 
I handled one and was very disappointed with what I saw and was even more disappointed when I tried to cycle the action. Doesn't hold a candle to the Browning or Winchester re-introductions of the 86.
 
I was watching a video on youtube and it looked like the rifle didn't even cycle properly. Might have been his handloads, though. I'll stick with my Winchesters and Brownings.
