Everyone I shoot with locally that has bought a Chiappa has had some issues with them. And a local gunsmith I know has told me that he cringes whenever one comes in through the door.
They LOOK nice but it seems that they spend too much of "our" money on the outsides and not enough on the insides.
Personally I would suggest you buy a Rossi and simply budget for some basic slicking up work and the reduced power spring kit. With just a little work and the new springs they are amazing. And if you're handy at this sort of stuff the information on doing the slicking up is out there on the web.
