The Chiappa AK22 is produced by Armi and distributed in the US by Chiappa. It is the exact same gun as the MitchellArms AK22 and Armi Jäger AP80. Like the AP80, it is prohib as a variant of the Mitchell Arms AK22 as the Mitchell Arms AK22 is written into legislation as an AK variant.

Mechanically the MA AK22, AJ AK22 and Chiappa 22 are the exact same gun. While none of them operate like an AK, one of them has been named as prohibited so they are all out of the toy box.
