Good day folks. Local gun store has a Double badger in stock, 22lr/.410 in stock. I would like to hear your experiences with them. And if nothing else, talk me into buying one, or talk me out of buying one.

Side note; little man came along, kinda would like to have something ready for him once he is old enough! Or that's my excuse I'm using trying to convince my better half! Haha

i always thought they where a neat little pack gun.
i dont have one currently but we always had one around the farm house when i was growing up.
ive contemplated picking up one here this last year or so and probably will.
not too much you cant pick off with the combo 22/410 for a nice small meal while out on a hike.
think im just waiting for steal of a deal to come along and ill pick one up.
im not a full price kinda guy!

I got one last year for my birthday, great little combo gun! It's now my favorite small game rifle. Its light, the sights are great for quick target acquisition, I can still shoot it with my thin hunting gloves on, it's a decent looking gun for the price, it folds pretty much in half. You should probably buy one... best combo gun in that price range.

Don't own one, but me and the boy (13) shot a buddies. Great gun. I bought a little badger, and it's a great gun. Will be picking one up if i can find one under the $$ cap.

I had one i traded a while ago and regret it. I was hitting bullseye at 50m with the 22. I will be getting a 20g version soon and i hope i have the same luck for accuracy. Great little gun especially for birds.

The release lever is stiff, and it takes a lot of force to charge the spring - was the complaint i got from the previous owner of mine. Perhaps they get easier with use, not for me to find out. The 20g does have a removable choke, not sure what other chokes fit
The fibre optic sights are pretty nice, really easy to see

I have the .22 and .410 combo and love it. I do find the rifle a bit stiff to break open but other than that it is a keeper! Really accurate .22 as well.
