I am curious and intrigued by Chiappa FAS 6007? Anyone here purchased one? What it your opinion? Worth the grand and half pre-tax? How is reliability/durability? Accuracy? Any issues? Looks like a fun albeit expensive little gadget to plink with or even compete.

Mine just showed up in the mail today so I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I will post results after a range visit.

Right out of the box, fit and finish are excellent. Comes with 3 mags, plus a cleaning kit and a tool kit. You can mount up to 8 included weights in the slots on each side of the barrel.

Trigger is fully adjustable. Grips are fully adjustable. Take down is easy with the lever on the left side of the frame.

Front sight is adjustable front to back and the rear sight is fully adjustable. You can also increase or decrease with width of the rear sight notch with an allen wrench.

The manual recommends a break-in of a couple of hundred rounds.

I had read on different forums that American manufactured ammo might be a touch long for the magazines but will have to explore that when I get to the range.

I purchased mine from Bullseye North.

My observations is the trigger reset is longer than a MG2 or Pardini. It comes in a really nice lockable case, 3 mags, several barrel weights. Mine works well with RWS. SK and Aguila std velocity. CCI std is acceptable, with a malfunction (stove pipe) one in every 150-200rrs. However CCI doesn’t seem to be what it used to be.

In comparison to my MG2 my sport pistol scores are nearly identical but I have more good “deep” tens with the 6007. Maybe they have make an updated 603.

For the price this is an excellent value and ideal for 25m (sport pistol).

What I don’t like is there is no exploded diagram in the manual and currently spare parts are limited (on order).

Hope this helps

Brian
