Interesting. May be those people who bought the Bootleg model could chime in?
Personally, I like the Bootleg model and was even considering buying it yesterday but really, I have no use for it at all. Could buy it as a curiosity item but that's a hefty nearly $470 price for something I'll never shoot. I'll better buy some ammo.
 
Not sure how I missed it myself, but thanks to cwblackwell88 I got the free shipping option. Order placed, total cost just under $435 to my mailing address.

I won't hunt with it...won't do anything more than casual plinking...but I can't recall the last time that I scurried to order something so soon after becoming aware of it, with only about 10 minutes of online research. This gun definitely has a purpose: to make me smile. I'm pretty sure it'll do the trick, I'm grinning already just knowing that it's on the way. :)
 
I hope it has some good reviews after getting into more hands, this looks like a fun plinker. Nice to have a more inexpensive backup for the Axe when im feeling a Lever but dont want to bust out a 12 or 30-30
 
Just grabbed 4 of these little guys from SFRC! I'd say get them while you can, cause they definitely will not last at their price ($413.95) and with Free Shipping with the Promo. I wouldn't be surprised if these were a 1 and done or a 2 and done kind of ordee/product that we get up here! Their actually listed as a Pistol on Chiappas website, which makes it even a little more unique and interesting.

Back when the old Rossi Ranch Hand first came out, I was an "early adoptor". That cool little gun came in a tiny box emblazoned with "This is a handgun" in giant letters. :)
 
Never needed a "boot" rifle before but here I go I guess. Maybe I need a pair.

Had restraint until I saw "handgun" and "free ship code".

Wife and I have all the apps to find ‘meal deals.’ It’s not that we’re broke, but it seems ridiculous to drop so much coin feeding the wolf pack.

I do the dad thing, and often don’t order anything but eat the multitude of leftovers, because “this has too much ketchup/ not enough, he/ she looked at / touched this, this is gross” etc… 😮‍💨

Actually I may treat myself to another one of these rifles…
 
I never knew about the free shipping at SFRC when I ordered one. I called in and the gal I talked to is going to refund me the shipping. Pretty darn good of them to do that.

SFRC is great for that stuff.

I just pulled the trigger on a second one. I paid a bit more at another vendor for the first.

I’m thinking the kids can shoot CB .22 shorts out of these, directly into our bullet catcher without disturbing a family bbq. Good fun.
