Chiappa Little Badger pics? Post here.

The rifle fits in the case perfectly. I just left a bit of the rifle peeking out to try to show that it fits. Its an inexpensive, 18" padded handgun case, that is easy to throw on my quad when heading out for a casual ride in the woods.

The See all sight can be ordered through amazon or as I did, directly from the manufacturer. Shipping was fast and if I remember correctly, was less than $150 to my door. After putting approximately 100 rounds downrange with this sight I am sold on it for my application. I look forward to seeing this sight being refined as time goes on.

Thanks Hans, It does look like a simple sight for a simple gun.
Does it have any cover to protect the lens from scratches?

No top cover at all. Getting it wet doesn't look like an issue but I wouldn't subject it too a lot of rough use. That's why I made the comment about looking forward to future versions. It would like to see some sort of partial(slotted) protective hood to protect the lens.

Hans slayer, where did you get that bag? It would be perfect for my needs! Does the rifle fit in there with a little room to spare? The reason I ask is that my stock is extended just a tad more than yours. Thanks for any info. Good shooting, Toni.

Wholesale Sports. The brand name is "Allen".
It is a tight fit as is. It took roughly a week of not quiet being able to zip it up for the material to relax enough to be fully closed. Works well now with no apparent strain on the zipper. Like I mentioned before, less than $20 and offers much better protection due to the padding. Beware though not to put the rifle away wet in a case like this as it will hold the moisture and promote rust.

Hans, I couldn't find it on their website. Is there a store near you that maybe carries it and the webstore doesn't? I've also checked a few other dealers but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to mention them on here. End result? I can't find those cases! Does anybody know where I can get a couple shipped to me? Or Hans, if you indeed did buy them locally and not online, would you be willing to help out a fellow gunnut and grab a couple of them and ship them to me? Of course I would pay you for your troubles. Just a question, doesn't hurt to ask right? Thanks all for any info, Toni.

Thanks for that link Hans. But they won't ship to Canada. Who knows why that is?! Anybody know of a vendor in Canada that I can order a couple from?

I removed the (non-functional) flash hider and added the S&J Hardware thread protector today...

...it's quite robust. I also sliced a thin piece off of the plastic stock protector, sanded it, and added it as a washer...

...this gave the muzzle more protection and acts as a recessed crown as well...

Forgive me for asking, but exactly what purpose does this part serve? I cannot see a reason or purpose for it... I am not trying to be sarcastic or rude, it is a serious question.

...good question...the little badger comes with a threaded barrel at the end...1/2 x 28 threads...chiappa furnishes a thread protector with the gun, which is plastic...which is fine...personally i think that the gun itself is really well built for what it is, the receiver feels strong...so i just wanted to replace the plastic with metal...i'm not rough on guns, but when it's -40 out and it gets bumped in the truck i would rather have metal on it than plastic...it was $15 so i'm not out a chunk of money...in the demos on youtube they show how a noise suppressor can be fitted to it, but that's filmed in the states and is not legal up here...and the flash suppressor i bought to test on it did nothing to suppress the flash so i took it off and will keep it for some .223 in the future...

:)

Anyone know of any metal rails that would be compatible with this? Slowly working on removing all the plastic on this gun.

i'm replacing my plastic thread protector because it came off the gun somewhere alot my travels...

What's the status on the lower rail adapter from maecolis?
I'm having trouble getting tight groups with the .22LR chamber insert in my 12ga, so I'm not completely ruling out a Little Badger at this time, since I found that single-shot is still pretty fun.

I stripped that POS thread protector within seconds, teflon tape keeps it on, cheap part, I ve tried attaching a few angled grips here and there, but anything that stops the max folding potential is out so it stays stock for now

The other problem /good thing is the chamber is loose as a goose. With some bulk ammo I've had split cases and gas blowing out the side. But if you're using for a survival gun and drop your ammo, if so still chamber.
