Nice bump Daver, I missed your last post with the new stock and grip.
Grip looks like a nice improvement, does it just clamp on to the little rail? Can you post a picture of it folded?

What are using to make the parts?
I bought some "reject" wooden plane handles from Lee Valley that they were selling cheap a while back and planed to make a small grip out of one of them..... but seeing your plastic grip I'm wondering if you want to make a couple more..... :)

What kind of optic have you got on there?

The little grip is designed to be held in place with a plastic pin the holds it on the rail, (and guides on the wire stock).
It is a huge improvement.

Folded has no impact on the size, it is the same as without the grip.
I will try to post a pic.

The new stock does fold a tiny bit bigger, I will play around with it a bit more.

The material is all PLA 3D printed.

I was thinking bout offering them for sale, we can talk if you would like.

They are quite nice if I do say so myself.

I was thinking about more little accessories too.

Also, the scope is a small 3.5x Russian VMOZ. it

If you perfect that grip ( looks close already) I'd say there's a market as long as the price is reasonable. I wouldn't be shocked if Chiappa ripped off the idea though, there solution for a grip option shows no imagination or design skills!

What's the eye relief like on that VMOZ? It's a perfect match for the Little Badger size wise!

Eye relief if not great the way I have it mounted, that is why I shortened the lop.
I could move it back, but I didn't want it to interfere with the hammer.

When I am done re-calibrating my printer, I will print another grip for a friend.
I'll take some pics and post them here.

So many little tweaks....

Well, Version 2 is ready to go, printed out of ABS on an industrial printer. (mine is not nearly as good - the cheek riser was done on mine)

I am going to start a thread on the build to attract new ideas for other platforms, but here is my contribution to this thread.

There are still a few tweaks I have to make, but this version is the 80% solution for me.

Once I am satisfied with the design, and have fully tested the modifications, I will see about getting industry to manufacture a small production run if you guys are interested.

This project has taken me many hours to get this far, but I think it is coming together nicely.

You can see the attachment bolt, which I will be Painting black eventually. I had to grind one side flat, and trim the threads to fit.

The Cheek piece is removable, and I can print different heights if I change optics or remove it to use the irons.
You can also see the built in sling loops, in case you like slinging your rifle.

Here is the front sling attachment point, and bottom rail. The Rail cant have anything on it when folded, but that is why they make QD right?

I put in a cut out so it folds just as flat as I can without my modifications, the break lever still impacts at the same time as the grip.

The Grip feels very nice in my hands, and is very comfortable. I will tweak it a little bit in the geometry later to see if I can make it fit like a glove.
(Disregard the white detergent on the for-end, it is just to wash the support material away after the printing process)

this is what i did to mine, , took all the rails off cause i hated them and dont plan on ever attaching anything to them, so i bought some para-cord and decided to try my hand at wrapping, not sure if i like how the stock turned out, but love the feel of the cord against the skin instead of steel, and adds a bit more thickness for my big mitts to grab onto

thanks to the cgn`r that pointed this out right away, but the credit card visible in the pic is a fake one that came in a new wallet i just bought. real card is tucked away safely..lol

These are great little rifles!
I need to get my Primary Arms MD-ADS red dot mounted on the lil' Badger and then I will post a pic here.

we have been keeping this thread going for a while!

I was thinking the same thing just now when I saw this thread come up...

I should track down my LB and take an update photo (4 years down the road from the one I posted). It's currently on loan to a cousin, and I think he's been tinkering with it too.
