Now that there are getting to be quite a few of these neat little rifles out there, post your pics or mods for all of us to see. This rifle has endless possibilities!

Picked one up earlier today at P&D. Heading out to shoot it tomorrow.

Had mine up in the woods today. Didn't shoot anything though, just plinked with 22 shorts. I need a smaller reddot but I'm too cheap to buy one. Hits whatever the dot is on.

I have not seen anyone else make the joke yet, so I have to say this is my first "black rifle." I am pretty happy with the value for the money. The plastic sights had some lines from miss-aligned molds. my rear sight rocked side to side slightly so I took it apart and used a fine file to flatten the bottom. In doing so I almost lost the little detent ball and tiny spring under the windage knob. There are other small springs and clips in it. If you take it apart, look in your manual at the exploded diagram so you know what to watch for and do it in a clean place so you can find tiny pieces that go flying.

In stock form, it measures about 8-1/2" from the top of the front sight to the top of the but plate when folded. If you remove the bottom picatinny rail, it drops 1" to 7-1/2" There seems to be lots of complaints that it is a triangle when folded. That bugged me too until I actually held it in my hands. It is frikkin' tiny. It would be cool to make it a little more compact so I have some rough ideas to share. I want to make a stalk with only a bottom piece and a rotating butt end. The wire stalk attaches with an M6x1.0 thread with a flat side on it. I can make the plate that attaches to the back of the reciever pretty easily. I don't show it in the pictures. I figure a hollow tube that would fit .22 cartridges would be good. I have a few more things to work out such as the best way to lock the butt end.

these are with the bottom rail removed. I may heat and curve the 3/4" pvc pipe. I would like to make it usable for storage too.

sorry for the novel, any helpful suggestions are welcome.

here is mine, with some mods to it.

i used a 1" wooden dowel to make a small pistol grip and a random screw that worked in the grip. then wrapped it in electrical tape for that real custom look :)

i machined the bottom rail so the gun would fold better.

I'm liking the creative thinking & am diggin' the look!

As far as I know, I'm the first person on the planet to do this...

There is a heavy stainless barrel weight threaded on the end to keep the muzzle climb to a minimum.

Underneath, the drool piece is a 17mm to 22mm rail adapter that I designed and fabbed.

You can see how the Fab PTK fits VERY nicely... and allows the shooting hand to point naturally... And folded, still fits inside the Badger Bag that it came with.

Cheers!
