Chiappa Little Badgers -- First Shipment Has Landed

I want one in 22 WMR. Bad. But a 22 LR would work as well. Seeing that video from KY, WE NEED SUPRESSORS!

A cool product (if someone is enterprising) would be a little strap-on bag that fit in the hollow of the stock. Something with a little cheek pad (that wire has to be tough on the cheek bone), and a couple zippered pouches, say for a little cleaning kit and a couple boxes of ammo.

Totally. It stows so nicely you might forget it's there. You won't really understand fully until you hold one. I didn't at least.
Yeah, I watched a bunch of (p)review videos and stuff of this rifle before I bought it, and I was still SHOCKED at how tiny it was when I held it.

Yeah, I've thought the same thing. Something big enough for a small cleaning kit, ammo, and some rudimentary survival supplies would be awesome.]

However, I wouldn't bother with the cheek pad idea... TBH it's actually not at all uncomfortable to use the way it is, plus the sights are so low that I have to "scrunch" a bit to get a proper sight picture. A cheek pad would be fine if you're running optics on it, but not with the stock sights -- at least, not unless you're a smaller body type (haven't had a chance to have my girlfriend test it out yet, but I expect it'll fit her a lot more naturally than it does me).

So ... any news for this little rifle ? are they going to be in stock soon ?

And maybe I miss something but can we have it in .22 WMR ? or just .22 LR ?

Thanks !

Seems Chiappa removed the thread muzzle, and replaced the plastic shell holder with a nylon one which hold 8 shells in small pockets....

This rifle is a hell of a great value for sub 150.00... Miss caramel some night just after supper go out with is Little Badger with a TR-25 Bushnell and mecanic steel plates self reseting i bought her (At 40 paces she hit 9/10) and some evening she put 150-200 rounds tru her Badger, this is reliable as it get... Rounds count so far 1500+... JP.

^^ ditto on this. Had one in my cart when they were first announced but didn't pull the trigger. Been kicking myself for a couple months now.

Want to get in on the next batch though. Waiting list or an eta?

Also, anyone know if they're strictly 22lr or can it fire longs and shorts as well? Not a deal breaker but nice to have.

Very interesting.

Off topic, but with regards to the SHOT Show 2013 youtube video that is in post #2, there's a rack of 4 lever action rifles that can be seen. Anyone know what the second rifle from the top is (the ###y lookin' black and silver number)?

Pretty sure that's a Chiappa 1886 Kodiak, 45/70

With this much interest can we get a preorder list or a time frame. I know it can be difficult to predict when the shipment will be in but any information would be great
