Chiappa M1-22

Howdy.
Chiappa's M1-22 has caught my eye. I'm liking it. What I'm not liking though, is the spotty record its making for itself when I read into it. Any members with these guns want to chime in with their experiences?

Also, I am given to believe that it tears down the same as, and is to scale to the original M1. That being said- would M1 or M1A accessories slap on to this action, or no?
What I'm thinking of, is taking the action and slapping it into Archangel's M1A stock. Yay? Nay?

the action of the m1a is much bigger then the m1 carbine

but the m1 carbine,m14/m1a/m305,mini 14 ect are all pretty much based off of the m1 garand
 
i bought one not long ago and after 150-200 rounds it malfunctioned. now im waiting through the warranty process. the manual said the firearm needed a couple hundred rounds as a break in period but for me it just broke. it is fun to shoot when its working though
 
Bought one, took it on a few range trips.. Sold it. Not accurate, bolt doesn't lock all the way back on last round. Mags are impossible to find except the two it comes with. This is the third Chiappa firearm I've owned, fired a few times then sold in disappointment. I'd advise you skip this one.

I think you better do some more research . The M1 carbine & the ( M1/ M1A/ M14 ) have nothing in common
 
That Chiappa alloy feels like cheap pot metal. Bought one and sold it right away. I should have known for the price.
 
I just picked one up at epps last week!ive put about 500 rounds though it.
The only issue I had was the mag sat a little loose causing it to be a jamo-matic
I put a piece of black tape on each side of the mag to take the play out.
It works flawlessly now , at the end of the day it's not that bad but not that great !!!!
