Hello, I picked up this upper for cheap and found the bolt spring rod was snapped from the bolt block. I ended up fixing it by drilling it out, notching the end of the rod, cross drilling the bolt block and driving a pin to hold it, then grinded down the forend head to make up the distance. It works good but for how long I don't know. Was wondering if a guy could make a cmmg drop in kit work in the chiappa upper seeing that their both based on the atchisson design.
