Maybe I was totally out to lunch, but I had never seen these before until PR made a post about having them in stock.

Has anyone ever used one / have a review on it?

Review by one of my favourite YouTubers (not favourable): http://nictaylor00.########.ca/2012/11/chiappa-m9-22lr-pistol-barrel-shot-out.html

On a personal note, this is the only gun I have ever had an employee of a gun store tell me not to buy when I was expressing interest in a firearm. Normally, this guy would just shovel whatever you want to hear into your ears if he think st here's even a slight chance of a sale, so I considered it a pretty serious red flag. I'd stay away.

Ive shot the Gsg 1911-22 and the Sig p226 classic 22 and this Chippa is more accurate then both of them, it wins over the sig also in the fact the slide release is functional and it holds open on last shot. It is not as reliable however then the Gsg which shot pretty much anything i threw at it, all day long. The Chippa is great till it heats up, i dont think cleaning is the issue because even dirty it shoots 200 rounds back to back untill it starts to fte.

I recently bought one, I Found the grips a little large so the gun shop threw in a pair of the houge wrap around only to find out that you have to do a bit of trimming to get them to fit. The slide release extends down lower then a typical 92 also had to cut it around the mag release. Other then that great gun very accurate but someone finicky about ammo Ive been using the federal bulk packs flawlessly but reminginton won't work at all hope this helps

Chiappa isn't exactly known for their quality these days. There are lots of decent .22 pistols around. Even real Beretta 71's for around the same price are available.

I looked into the pistol but I have heard pretty bad things about the brand in terms of quality unfortunately, the price makes them tempting but I'm not sure I would go with one.
