My new 22 mares leg is 25", but it was NR.

They are non restricted "another" place has them for about $1500 shipped, big price tag is why I haven't picked one up. Sure would like one tho!

Way big price tag for a chiappa.....first line of business will be to get the action slicked up....so add even more money on top of the staggering $1500 price tag

No. There is no overall length for NR.

Doesn't the RCMP decide wether it's restricted or NR if it's under 26" overall length?

No. They read the criminal code definition for Prohibited, if it doesn't apply they read the definition for restricted, if it doesn't apply then its NR.

Do the 9" come with the same take down action as the 12" Are the barrels interchangeable?

Don't see why they couldn't be interchangeable they just half turn to Disengage from receiver no different than longer barrels . You would have to order a complete barrel forsock and mag tub with follower tube . Interrupted threads .
