you got a lot of work to do to make that as smooth as a good Smith and Wesson.

If the Rhino is so much greater then regular guns why are they hardly used by any of the top competitors in IDPA ,IPSC, ICORE exc?

I dont need to hear people talk smack about the rhino in this forum. Most of you never shot one, nor ever held one. I kind was passionate about sharing opinions at first, but it is no secret most of you struggle with new concepts or at least new executions to old designs.

Go buy one, go shoot one, and then come back here and say which one you prefer. So far most who shot my revolver agree about the advantages of having the barrel at 6 o clock.

Having a negative out look is not going to help anyone of you complainers live a happier life. I just don't need negative talk here.

By posting it you have invited feedback of all kinds. You like the gun and thats your opinion. Others do not feel the same as you do. Accept it. I for one have experience with that gun and it was not for me. Sure, its not traditional in appearance but it brings something else to the table which has not been seen amongst modern revolvers. I found it to be lacking in strength and a cracked frame was proof enough for me. Just too much alloy for my liking.

I'd love to shoot one. If you are in the lower mainland, I'd buy you a box of ammo if I could put half through the Rhino. (or something like that)
I like the concept and I don't mind the looks. Then again, I like the looks of my PMR30 and not everyone does.

^ Filling in for Dirt? :D

I've always liked these things. As much as I'd love the chance to try one out, I fear that'd be the last I'd see of a thousand dollars, and I already have a .357 revolver :\

That's part of the appeal for me :)

I've been very seriously considering one as my next gun purchase. The thing is I hear such varied reports on them. One review says they're cheap garbage, the next says they're incredible, precision-machined wonders. Some say they have awful reliability, while others say they'll fire forever with no hiccups. It seems nobody can even give a semi-consistent report on the weight of the trigger pull. I've read everything from like 'unbearable' to 7 lbs. in double action. I've never seen a gun get such contradictory reviews/analysis.

It appeals to me in many ways. I think it's aesthetically pleasing. I'm going to take a look at one in a week or two. But until I'm a bit more confident about it and maybe speak with some people who own them, I'll bide my time and save up.

trekstor, that video of you firing it was quite revealing. The difference the Rhino's design makes in recoil is unreal. Really fascinating. Thanks for sharing.

Me too, but I also like having something a little different. The same sort of thing seemed to happen to the Remington 887 shotgun (which I bought). I gather there were a few QC issues early on, and it looks odd, so while it seems to get tons of negative or confused reviews, most people who have them seem to like them. I suspect for both guns, some of it is a purist, "if it aint broke..." kind of attitude. though to answer the "why don't you see them in competition then" arguments, I'd guess that the very small market for holsters, speedloaders, etc, plays a part in that.

If we lived elsewhere, I think I'd be hard pressed not to buy one of the snubnose Rhinos for CCW :D
